General Motors Entra ID system

Good Morning, 

I received an email from the National Automotive Service Task Force, NASTF, informing me that GM has implemented a new security system when you log into the ACDelco TDS site. 

I am currently attempting to log into the acdelcotds.com site but the website is very slow to load and has multiple errors and missing content.

If you are experiencing the same then my advice is to wait for an hour or two to allow the server to rebuild any files, implement the new security measures and for majority of users to get signed in and lower traffic to the site. 

Here is the contents of that email;

Good Evening,

As of today Sunday, July 26th, GM has implemented the new Entra ID.

The login box will change to the Microsoft version automatically for all users. Please note, you will need to reset your password the first time you login through Microsoft.

If for some reason you have trouble opening ACDelco TDS, clear your cache and attempt again.

There is also an update for TLC, so you will want to load everything before you head out on Monday morning.

Follow up to my post. The ACDelcoTDS is functioning as normal. 

The Encarta security function is working and requires a 2 factor authentication. When you sign into the site now you will be emailed a verification code, copy and paste that into the Encarta window and press ok. You will be redirected back to the AC Delco TDS site and it will be business as normal. 

It does appear that you'll have to go through this process every time you sign into the site.  Its an extra step but its also something becoming more common with many web sites today.
